Welcome to PlazCutz. These Terms & Conditions explain the general conditions relating to the use of our website, purchases from our online store and bespoke engineering or manufacturing services.
By placing an order or commissioning work from PlazCutz Ltd, you agree to the applicable terms outlined below.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Products & Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, photographs and prices displayed on our website are accurate.
Minor variations may occur due to manufacturing processes, material tolerances or the nature of unfinished engineering materials.
Product photographs are provided for illustration. Unless otherwise stated, unfinished mild steel products are supplied in their natural, uncoated condition and may develop surface oxidation over time.
If a particular dimension, finish or specification is critical to your application, please contact us before ordering.
3. Prices & Payment
Product prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP). The applicable VAT treatment and any delivery charges will be shown during checkout or on your quotation.
Payment for online purchases is required through the payment methods offered at checkout.
For bespoke engineering work, payment arrangements will be confirmed as part of the quotation or invoice.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing or listing errors. If an error affects an order you have placed, we will contact you before proceeding and provide an appropriate option to cancel and receive a refund.
4. Orders & Acceptance
When you place an online order, you will receive an order acknowledgement.
An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the goods. We may contact you if further information is required to fulfil your order.
If we are unable to fulfil an order, we will notify you and arrange a refund of any payment received for the unavailable goods.
5. Manufacturing & Product Specifications
Many of our engineering products are manufactured, machined or cut following receipt of an order.
Standard catalogue products are supplied according to the specifications stated on their respective product pages.
For bespoke manufacturing, the agreed quotation, drawings, dimensions, materials and written specifications will form the basis of the work undertaken.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete specifications for bespoke components, including any relevant dimensions, tolerances, material requirements and intended application.
Any requested changes after manufacturing has commenced may affect the agreed price or completion time and will be discussed with the customer.
6. Bespoke Engineering Quotations
Quotations for CNC machining, plasma cutting, turning, welding, fabrication, powder coating and other engineering services are prepared using the information available at the time of enquiry.
A quotation may be revised if the requirements, materials, quantities or scope of work subsequently change.
Manufacturing lead times are estimates unless a specific completion date has been expressly agreed in writing.
7. Delivery
Order processing times, estimated delivery periods and courier arrangements are explained on our Shipping & Returns page.
Please ensure the delivery information supplied during checkout is accurate.
Where delivery difficulties arise, please contact us so we can assist.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights regarding delivery of goods.
8. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
Our Shipping & Returns page explains our voluntary returns arrangements and how to request assistance with an order.
For eligible consumer purchases made online, statutory cancellation rights apply in accordance with UK consumer law.
Goods genuinely manufactured to a customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right.
Standard catalogue products are not automatically excluded simply because they are manufactured or prepared after an order is placed.
For ordinary change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return postage where permitted by law and as explained in our Shipping & Returns policy.
Your statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods remain unaffected.
9. Customer-Supplied Drawings & Designs
Where customers provide drawings, files, sketches or designs for manufacturing, they confirm that they have the necessary rights or permission for PlazCutz to use those materials to fulfil the requested work.
Customer-supplied technical information will be used for the purpose of assessing, quoting and completing the relevant enquiry or manufacturing order, subject to our Privacy Policy.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the supply of a customer drawing does not transfer ownership of that drawing or its associated intellectual property to PlazCutz.
10. Product Suitability & Installation
Customers should ensure that purchased products are appropriate for their intended application.
Where products are intended for structural, safety-critical, load-bearing or other specialist uses, suitability must be assessed against the relevant project requirements.
We do not claim that a product meets a particular certification, load rating or technical standard unless this is expressly stated in its description or agreed documentation.
This section does not exclude liability for products that fail to conform to their description, agreed specification or applicable legal requirements.
11. Website Content
Unless otherwise stated, the photographs, text, graphics and original website content published by PlazCutz are owned by PlazCutz Ltd or used with permission.
Website content must not be reproduced commercially without prior permission, except where permitted by law.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Any other limitations of liability will apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Privacy & Personal Information
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Information supplied when placing an order or submitting an enquiry is used for legitimate business purposes, including order fulfilment, manufacturing, delivery and customer support.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to the customer.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes to our products, services, website or legal requirements.
The terms applicable to an accepted order will not be retrospectively changed without an appropriate legal basis or agreement.
