Our EN8 steel top hat bush with 8.5mm clearance hole is precision CNC turned from EN8 (080M40) medium carbon steel, providing a strong, non-threaded mounting sleeve for fabrication, automotive and general engineering applications.
Manufactured in-house at our Lancashire workshop from solid EN8 steel bar, this flanged bush features a 14mm diameter body, 40mm body length and 20mm diameter locating flange, with a 5mm flange thickness giving an overall length of 45mm.
The 8.5mm plain through-hole provides clearance for an M8 bolt, while the thicker 5mm top hat flange creates a locating shoulder for incorporating the bush into fabricated steel assemblies, mounting brackets and chassis components.
Supplied in bare, unfinished steel, ready for fabrication or further processing.
